• Tenno Sho (Spring) — 1988
• Takarazuka Kinen — 1988
• Tenno Sho (Autumn) — 1988

A grey son of C.B. Cross born in 1984, Tamamo Cross won three G1 races in 1988: the Tenno Sho (Spring) over 3,200 metres, Takarazuka Kinen over 2,200 metres and Tenno Sho (Autumn) over 2,000 metres. He beat Oguri Cap in that autumn showdown, before finishing second to the same rival in the Arima Kinen. His career total was nine wins from eighteen starts.

Small, sharp-tongued and full of fight, Tamamo Cross speaks in Kansai dialect and often plays the straight woman to Oguri Cap. Growing up with little money fuels her determination. She handles middle-to-long turf with Pace Chaser, Late Surger or End Closer styles, giving her several ways to challenge the leaders.
